In another embarrassing moment for pro-Harris left-wing media, Politico ludicrously suggested that Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris had nothing to do with the Biden administration's failed and openly anti-American policies since 2021.
The website claimed that Republican vice presidential nominee, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, had “tried to link” Harris to Biden as if she were not the vice president or the “border czar” who oversaw the infiltration of illegal immigrants across the southwest border.
Meanwhile, in Harris' first major media interview, CNN allowed her to bring in a babysitter to ensure she didn't screw things up: Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris' running mate.
In other words, the media megaphones are working overtime to protect Harris not only from her association with Biden, but also from their own incompetence in how to handle reporters.
POLITICO STORY
Perhaps the most glaring feature of Politico's attempt to shield Harris, as pointed out by many at Ace of Spades and X, is that the website changed its original headline.
The headline originally read, “'Corrupt Leaders': Vance Tries to Connect Harris and Biden at Michigan Rally,” a sentence that remains in Politico's X article.
New headline: “Vance warns about Chinese influence at Michigan rally.”
In any case, the article complains that Vance is “attacking” Harris. The article begins:
Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance began his Rust Belt campaign this week by attacking Vice President Kamala Harris's economic record and promoting his message of protecting American jobs in Michigan, a key battleground state where Harris is leading in the polls.
Speaking at a rally in Big Rapids, Michigan, former President Donald Trump's running mate sought to link Harris to Biden administration policies, saying “Kamala Harris is leading the charge,” and warned that China's rise as an economic power is stealing jobs from the United States.
Vance's job as vice presidential candidate will be to attack Harris.
Disappointment and ridicule continue at X
Western Lensman quoted Susan Rice, Biden's domestic policy director, who served as Obama's national security adviser. Rice said Kamala Harris “has been a key architect and implementer of the Biden-Harris Administration's policies.” To suggest otherwise is “not only wrong, but frankly bizarre and offensive,” Rice said. Rice emphasized that Harris “devised” many of the domestic policies of the Biden-Harris agenda.
“How dare Mr Vance insinuate that Ms Harris has ties to Mr Biden,” RegisterCBDC added.
Another wrote: “A reminder that there isn't enough hate for the media yet.”

What's interesting is that the headline has been rewritten, but the sentence remains: Vance “tried to tie Harris to Biden Administration policy” as if she wasn't the current vice president and the second-highest ranking official in the United States.
Another wrote that he “never suspected” that Harris and Biden were related. And, amusingly, User X attached a community note to the Politico post.
The headline read, “J.D. Vance tries to tie Harris to Biden.” Harris is currently President Biden's vice president.

CNN Interview
As further evidence of the left-wing media's defence of Harris, CNN reports that Harris will be giving an interview tomorrow with Waltz by her side to add dressing to her verbal salad.
Thirty-seven days into her candidacy, enthusiasm and momentum for Harris is building, including at the party convention in Chicago last week. But she has drawn criticism from Republican rivals for not holding a formal news conference or interview. Thursday's interview fulfills a pledge she made in early August to schedule an in-person meeting by the end of the month.
The interview will be Harris' first opportunity to clarify where she stands on a range of domestic and international issues in a campaign that has so far been more tone-deaf and light on policy, and it will also give her a chance to explain, if she wishes, how her positions differ from Biden's.
But CNN went on to explain that a 2021 interview with NBC's Lester Holt was a disaster.
As The New American reported in July, Politico reported that Holt had asked Harris, the administration's much-touted border chief, if she would visit the Southwest to investigate damage caused by a man with whom she has no connection.
“At some point, we're going to be at the border,” she told Holt. “We've been to the border. So, all this stuff about the border, we've been to the border. We've been to the border.”
“You've never been to the border,” Holt said, confused.
“And I've never been to Europe,” Harris replied, “so I don't understand what you're talking about.”

In an interview with the network's Anderson Cooper, she said she “forcefully defended the president's actions and became one of the few Biden allies who continued to staunchly support Biden publicly.”
Despite being a “staunch defender of Biden,” Harris is not “tied” or even remotely associated with Biden or his policies.
