Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is already beset by defamation charges, allegations that he abandoned the National Guard under his command before deploying to Iraq and a resurfaced drunk-driving charge, but new allegations have emerged, adding further embarrassment to Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.
The latest on the far-left governor: Two reports say he has close ties to radical Muslim anti-Semites and critics have called him a Hitler sympathizer.
But that's not all: A video of Minnesota's 2023 Pride parade went viral, showing underwear-clad transvestites twerking in front of small children, which Waltz supported. The video also shows Waltz arguing that fourth graders should be allowed to use the bathroom of the opposite sex.
Or maybe this new revelation isn't all that embarrassing to Harris or the Democratic Party. Maybe they just don't care. They're no doubt well aware of Waltz's radical leftism and probably elected him for it.
Imam, friend of Hamas supporters
One of Waltz's fellow Israel-haters is “a Muslim cleric who celebrated Hamas' attack on Israel on Oct. 7 last year and promoted a film glorifying Adolf Hitler that is popular among neo-Nazis,” reports the Washington Examiner.
Governor Walz hosted Asad Zaman, the imam of the American Muslim Association of Minnesota, at the Governor's Mansion five times, but seemed unconcerned that Zaman was a pro-terrorism fanatic.
“In May 2023, Zaman, along with other Muslim leaders, attended a meeting with Minnesota Governor Walz's office regarding mosque safety,” the website reported.
Zaman also spoke at a May 2020 event calling for peaceful protests alongside the governor during the unrest that erupted in Minnesota in the wake of the death of George Floyd. In April 2019, the pastor delivered a prayer before Walz's State of the State address. Just months earlier, in January 2019, Zaman called for an end to the government shutdown during a press conference with Walz.
Additionally, social media posts show Zaman attended an event hosted by Waltz for Ramadan in May 2019.
Zaman, a Bangladeshi national, said he “stands in solidarity with the Palestinians against Israeli attacks” after a Hamas terror attack on Oct. 7 left 1,200 Israelis dead. He also shared a Facebook post in which “Yusuf Abdi Abdul, president of the Islamic Society of North America, declared that Palestine has the right to defend itself,” the Examiner reported.
In his post, Abdouleh wrote that the Biden-Harris administration is “on the wrong side of history” for “supporting the radical Zionist regime and its illegal settlements.”
As well as Hamas propaganda on Facebook, Zaman also “shared links to blog posts from anti-Semitic websites that vilify Jews and, in one instance in 2015, an article on a pro-Hitler film website called 'Great Untold Stories,'” the website continued.
Walz and Harris don't seem to mind that Zaman has been denounced by the far-left, pro-Democrat Anti-Defamation League (ADL): “Anyone who has met with Zaman should make it clear that they do not agree with his harmful views about Jewish people and the Jewish state,” the ADL said.
The Muslim American Council and CAIR
Rather than cutting ties with these harmful figures, Walz subsidized the organizations with taxpayer dollars: An Examiner review of state records found that the Walz administration funneled more than $100,000 to Zaman's terror-support group, the Muslim American Association.
MAS is an umbrella organization of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose members founded the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a propaganda arm of the Brotherhood. Federal prosecutors have named CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in a case against the Holy Land Relief and Development Foundation. In 2008, the foundation and its leaders were convicted of aiding Hamas.
Not surprisingly, Waltz also has very close ties to CAIR: As the Washington Free Beacon reported earlier this week, he “attended the 'Challenging Islamophobia' conference hosted by CAIR's Minnesota chapter at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul on March 28, 2019.”
Governor Walz, in opening remarks at the event, announced the creation of a Civil Rights Office to address Islamophobia in the state, which has the largest Somali Muslim population in the country.
A photo from the conference shows Waltz posing with Hatem Bazian, a scholar of anti-Semitic ideology who has long advocated for anti-Israel terrorism. Bazian is the founder of Students for Justice in Palestine, the group that led many of the pro-Hamas and anti-Semitic rallies on college campuses following the October 7 attacks. The group's George Washington University chapter ran a slogan “Glory to the Martyrs” in the days after the attacks. Bazian also founded American Muslims for Palestine, the parent organization of Students for Justice in Palestine, a prominent anti-Israel group currently under investigation in Virginia for allegedly funding terrorism.
Pervert Parade
Walz isn't just friends with supporters of terrorism: He's also gay-obsessed and supports Minneapolis' Pride parade in 2023. In fact, photos of Walz at the event show him visibly glowing in pink.
Among the acts performed at the pervert gathering was a man dancing shirtless and in his underwear in front of children. TikTok's Libby posted a video of the disturbing event yesterday, which has since been viewed over 2 million times. The 2023 performance was a repeat of the 2022 performance. Governor Walz also endorsed it.
Incidentally, this year's parade also featured the North Star Kennel Club, a sadomasochistic bondage and training group, whose participants “were men dressed in dog masks, collars, harnesses, and other BDSM gear,” Alpha News reported.
In a video posted by The Daily Wire, Walz is seen speaking about another favorite subject: transgender children.
At a 2017 town hall meeting, Waltz told the audience that as a former teacher, one of his most important jobs was ensuring that fourth-graders could use the bathroom of the opposite sex.
Walz has been so committed to promoting gender perversion that last year he signed the so-called “Trans Refugee Bill” that “protects the right” of “transgender” children to receive “gender-affirming care.”
The law allows doctors to provide care to children in states that ban such “care.”
“Gender reassignment care” is the Lavender Lobby's euphemism for giving children opposite-sex hormones and then mutilating them in “sex reassignment” surgery.
Military Scandal
Before revelations about Waltz's close ties to radical pro-terror Islamists, it was revealed that he had retired from the National Guard in 2005 after 25 years of service to avoid deployment to Iraq.
The report also clarified that Waltz did not retire as a master sergeant.
Republican Sen. J.D. Vance accused the left-leaning governor of libel because of his comments on gun control.
“I can ensure that the weapons of war that I carried in war are only carried in war,” Waltz said.
Waltz has never been to war.
Regarding drunk driving, Waltz was arrested in 1995 with a blood alcohol content of 0.128. A Nebraska state trooper clocked Waltz driving 96 miles per hour in a 55 mph speed zone. Waltz pleaded guilty to reckless driving but later claimed he was not intoxicated.
