Yesterday's hearing was not the first time Ms Plaskett proved she may be off her rocker.
Another occasion was a committee hearing regarding the Federal Trade Commission's efforts to extract information about the role of Matt Taibbi and other journalists in reporting on the infamous Twitter file.
After Elon Musk bought Twitter, he called it a “crime scene” and exposed the now infamous Twitter files to journalists. These files proved that the Biden administration ordered Twitter to shut down conservative activities. The FTC went wild.
The 12 FTC letters addressed to Twitter included more than 350 requests for information. The subcommittee report concluded:
The FTC is “attempting to harass Twitter and pry into its decisions on matters outside the FTC's purview…”
The FTC provided details of Twitter's interactions with journalists, including “Bari Weiss, Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger, (and) Abigail Schrier,” as well as access to internal records that Twitter may have provided. The identities of all other journalists were requested.
These files revealed that the FBI paid Twitter $3.4 million for the bid. This included shutting down an article about Hunter Biden's laptop.
This demand is clearly an attempt to suppress journalists and shut down reporting.
Ms. Plaskett's response: She falsely claimed that the Twitter file did not suggest any such thing. And she disparaged Taibbi and Shellenberger as “so-called journalists.”
Taibbi educated this so-called congressman: “I have won the National Magazine Award for Independent Journalism and the IF Stone Award, and have written ten books, including four New York Times bestsellers.''

Aside from Plaskett's terrible performance above, she appeared on MSNBC to discuss national security and the storage of classified documents at President Trump's Mar-a-Lago mansion.
