Wokeness Lives: “Trans-Turtle” is on the Mental Health Board – and Other PC Madness

“Week is dead,” the New York Post declared on December 30th. And it would have been a great Christmas present. Unfortunately, like all big ships, it can take years while the elections at the helm of the USS government are changing. (So ​​the Titanic cannot avoid icebergs.) What's more, it's a national ship. But politics is downstream from culture and not the other way around. And in our culture, the murderer of souls and civilizations – may be true, but now they may have a sniffle. Still, it's still alive and is doing too well.

Donatello isn't like that

Meet JD Holt for the right cases. According to a New York post on Thursday:

A member of the state panel, advising the Oregon Health Department's Director (OHA), made a wild first impression at the meeting by declaring, “I will use them, theirs, turtles as my pronouns.”

JD Holt, who also attends “JD Terrapin” on Facebook, made a straight-faced declaration while introducing her (herself) at the virtual council meeting on December 20th.

“Hello everyone, this is JD. I use them, those, turtles as my pronouns. I'm in the Springfield and the Ejean area. I can be part of the Council,” Holt said enthusiastically.

Other members of the conference's Consumer Advisory Committee were seen blinking and hiding reactions to the strange animal world identity.

…Genderwiki, a website that documents non-binary gender, describes it as “turtle gender” (called “turtle gender.”).

Now we can question Holt's commitment. After all, she's not like a man who has undergone cosmetic surgery to turn herself into a parrot. Nevertheless, some are wary of being in a role advising her state on best practices for achieving mental health. Holt is not the only one, um…and the extraordinary individuals on the board.

Freak Show Star

This means you should never be afraid to let the turtles worry about slowing down the process. The OHA has another unbalanced member that balances Holt. As commentator Olivia Murray adds,

People of the gender of “shooting star” are also sitting on this mental health advisory board. I'm not kidding because at a December meeting he/she introduced himself as a “Luke a Shooting Star.”

There are many waking jokes

There's more love too. In Oregon, Democratic Gov. Tina Kotek just declared her Abortion Provider Appreciation Day on March 10th (tweet below).

Of course, some might expect political correctness in the Beaver State. But Oregon isn't just gone as a patriotic dagger band experience in the Tennessee evidence. As commentator Todd Sturnes reported yesterday:

Jordan and Seth Duggar had written a song called “True Colors.” They had been invited to appear in the station's “Nashville Today” program.

But when the management of Station (WSMV) read the lyrics, they told the mountain boys in East Tennessee that it was politically biased because it promoted America.

Reality check

This doesn't mean that there has been no cultural change, at least for now. As the post wrote in the December article on “Woke Is Dead,”

There are promising signs when it comes to that rearview mirror. The preferred pronoun is quietly dropped from the email signature. Sanctuary Colleges in Michigan are firing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) staff. Walmart has completely removed the term DEI. Investors are calling for retailer goals by putting their commitments into Pride Month that outweighs DEI, the environment, social, governance and shareholder benefits. Previously left-wing Silicon Valley billionaires are publicly excited to join or even join the Trump administration.

Of course, it's normal for traditionalists to support this. You may feel like you can breathe again. But what's dangerous is that conservatives have a habit of mistakenly winning the election for long-term elections. Why might they mistake it for a deeper cultural change?

First, it should be noted that President Donald Trump won the popular vote in 2024 with just 1.5%. More importantly, he won four of the seven swing states with a margin of less than 2.2%. And if he loses those states, Kamala Harris would be president.

Similarly, consider people voting heavily for Pocket Books. If the economy is not good before mid-2026, the GOP could be poor. Same as in the 2028 presidential election. And if Democrats regain control of the executive branch in 2028, there could be another important promotion.

Turn the ship

But again, cultural warfare is paramount (and yes, politics can have an impact on this). And you need a perspective.

Conceptualizes culture wars as a battle for territory, which fixes modified goods. The so-called left has conquered traditionalist “lands” for decades. The current anti-freedom campaign is successful, but relies on the recovery of previously lost territory. So now the left “just” occupy 85% of the 90% that we originally captured. So, what is the appropriate course of action? First, understand the above. Evil is always ongoing and needs to be fought. There is never a time to crush the cultural swords of this world. (You can rest in heaven.) Secondly, and as I often emphasize, we should not complain about awakened social code. You need to replace it with something better.

It is virtue (opposite of “virtue signal”), an objectively good moral habit discovered long ago. (I explained it to them in detail here.)

This is the only valid way to reverse that Gramscienne “long march through the engine.” Because there are simple and inevitable rules in life. If you don't follow the truth, you will follow the lies.

Replacing will with something other than virtue only corrects defects with defects.
