Is it time to retire the donkey and make an angry old man who swings a new Democratic symbol into his cane? Of course, such an exhibition was exactly what won Al Green (D-Texas), who was ousted from President Donald Trump's speech to Congress on Tuesday. That also reflects the general attitude of the Democrats last night.
Meanwhile, Trump soared like an eagle, with most Americans giving a speech.
However, it was not only John Q. public that realized that Trump had sailed while his opponents failed. Democratic campaign consultant Doug Shane likened Trump's speech to JFK and Ronald Reagan's first historic speeches in 1961 and 1980, respectively. In contrast, he writes that his Democrats “have no answers at all” and that “minor things make them almost irrelevant.”
Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) was also disappointed with his party. He called the Democrats' actions “self-owned sad cavalry and unharmed petulance” on social platform X on Wednesday. “It just makes Trump more presidential and more restrained.”
“We are becoming a philossible car alarm that no one pays attention to,” he continued. Fetterman then added, “may not be a victory message,” as it could be an understatement of this month.
Trump won
But Trump's message was a different story. As the hills today inform:
76% of those who approved the president's remarks, 23% disapproved, as reported Wednesday in the CBS News and YouGov survey results.
The majority of respondents, 63%, said they spent more time on issues they care about, compared to 28% who Trump said they objected. Another 9% said they didn't spend any time on topics of interest.
Respondents also noted that his speech left a positive sentiment overall…
CNN's instant poll captured a similar response, with 44% of speech watchers seeing Trump's statement as highly positive. About 25% said he felt that his statement was somewhat positive, with 31% feeling that he was negative.
With biased time, 76% approval is impressive as it is difficult for the robust American majority to agree to something. Also note that CBS and CNN are left-wing costumes. So, if anything, Trump's speech may be even more popular than their results reflect. And what explains this approval? Commentator Monica Shower has some ideas.
Pollers have found Trump is addressing issues that are important to voters – ending government spending waste, fraud, abuse, closing open borders, removing men competing in women's sports, explaining tariffs, honouring those who have once again become healthy and praised the heroes and brave obstacles.
It also doesn't hurt that Trump delivered his remarks with style and humor. (The example below. You may need to increase the volume. The video is low.)
In contrast, even better
And what did the Democrats say? Showalter adds it
Democrats are all crazy protests, kicked out of the session for Uncivil's actions, get strange paddle boards, learn tones, create wardrobes to remember, strikes, create robot talking point videos…
Showalter then presents an incredible example of the latter below.
However, it wasn't just the three senators mentioned above. According to the following, it was more than a hive-oriented Democrat score.
As mentioned above, Elon Musk was so impressed with the collective message that he offers free cybertrack to those who reveal the identity of propaganda writers.
Of course, this is not the first time that a pseudo-elite has adjusted their story points. It is well known that Democrats do it regularly, for example. Another example is more than 100 newspapers that agreed to run anti-Trump editorials in 2018 at the same time. But there is a deeper point.
Note that the above media entities bring the truth about the Democratic Party's coordinated post-Trump message. Also, if there was only mainstream media in 2018, most Americans would have never heard of the editor. point?
The new media landscape has completely changed the equation.
It's my sense that 2024 was a turning point. I think that so-called alternative media ultimately achieved greater power and reach than so-called mainstream media (MM). This loss of MM control means that Democrats lose control of the “narrative” through MM.
As a result, the left-wing deception previously covered by MM is now exposed.
Put another way, under the old media, Democrats were able to appear as the impressive wizard of Oz.
Under the new media landscape, more and more people see the pathetic little man behind the curtain.
And they laugh at him.
But there are still other things to it. With the jigs rising, some MM entities have realised they have to reform themselves to compete. The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times are two examples.
Furthermore, this accurate information spread, what the pseudo-elites call “misinformation,” changed the Overton window. (It is the scope of socially acceptable public discourse.)
Consider “transgenderism.” When I criticized it in 2009, even some conservatives complained about my analysis. Why did the great (and really) conservative site that was publishing my article, even consider removing it via pushback. Now, many of the “controversial debates” expressed there have become axiomatic for conservatives. difference?
Previously, “trans” messages could be made visible as default by expanding the number of propagandists and throttling objections. But now, as people publish more freely in new media and interact more freely, the truth is spreading more effectively. And more Americans can learn that the truth about “transgenderism” is in fact the dominant view. And “default” only reflects the plot of a little man behind the curtain.
And as this process continues, problems arise after the problem and the little guy always gets a litler.
