A recent Gallup poll found that only 34 percent of Americans trust the media at all, while 38 percent have no trust in the mass media at all. This is the first time that the percentage of Americans who do not trust the media at all has exceeded the percentage who do. Part of this dramatic change in the media world is the rise of “alternative media.” Kate Daly is one of alternative media's rising stars.
