It was said that the Democrats were the “normal people's party.”
Now they're a rare man's party.
Very rare.
If you need a stance in female sports men, non-deported criminal foreigners, 24/7 fixation on race, or a supportive government waste, Democrats have the champion for you.
Think of Maine's Democratic Gov. Janet Mills at last week's White House event. Rebelliously locking the corner with President Donald Trump, she told him, “Look at you in court!” Her remarks went viral, and the radical leftists cried out, “You're going, girl!”
However, she was defending the practice of men (aka “transgender”) competing in women's sports. Here, it should be noted that in our polarized countries it is difficult for the majority to agree to something. Almost 80% of Americans support Trump's position. Why, even 69% of Democrats agree with the president is that men should be banned from women's track and field. (That's kind of an obvious problem with the Captain.)
Don't think Mills is on the right side of history. Ultimately, polls show that support for Trump's position has increased by 12 points over the past two years. To put it in fairness, the Mills Act was bold and reminiscent of fellow Democrat George Wallace standing at the door of the school building.
“Trump's Superpower”
But it's not just a “trans” issue. Google's “Democrats defend the ineffectiveness” gives an impressive number of results. For example, commentator Ben Shapiro spoke about “Trump Superpower” in 2018. In other words, “He can protect anything to the Democrats.”
That may not be an exaggeration either. Consider the creators article late last week entitled “Not able to defend.” It outlines the enthusiastic opposition to the Democratic Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) revelation. And consider some of those findings to grasp how outrageous this opposition is. We provide an example of the waste of money for USAID taxpayers, as American thinkers are related to February 5th.
You don't question in vain
Regarding the aforementioned Creators article, author Laura Hollis further mentions some more outrage. Our Government:
It funded the education of a man linked to a terrorist on 9/11. They gave the Taliban $15 million for the condom. Immensely, it gave $2 billion in EPA money to a group founded by election denier Stacey Abrams. And intentionally, they deliberately waste hundreds of billions of money during the Biden administration's decline day.
Nevertheless, the government could not find the money to update the processing of federal employee resignation applications. Using 1950s technology, “it's still happening in the old Pennsylvania mines by hundreds of people in the underground,” Hollis writes.
As these terrible revelations became more well known, Doge's support increased, says Hollis. Anyway, she continues,
Many Democrats and other leftists are furious at the revelation of these unnecessary spending, not the waste itself. Commentators defend them by claiming that they are neither futile nor fraudulent because they are all “approved.” (Um – that's the problem.) The organization is filing a lawsuit in friendly federal courts and seeking injunctions that would prevent Trump from cutting certain spending or mandating him to revive it.
Americans are surprised by these reactions.
First of all, it's frankly shocking that no one cares billions of dollars without accountability. And the Trump administration isn't just targeting the beloved initiative to the left. Defense Secretary Pete Hegses announced he hopes to cut the Department of Defense's spending by 8% per year for the next five years, and has pledged that the department will pass an audit within the next four years. Why are Democrats not happy that their military budgets are declining and their spending is transparent?
Have you learned anything?
There is an answer. And that's not just about too many leftists responding to what Trump suggests vampires do on the cross. What this government was spending long ago is becoming a slimy fund for the Democrats and their allies. The $2 billion for the Abrams Group is an example. Another is that left-leaning media outlet Politico has won $44 million from government subscriptions.
But the fact is that opposition to this democratic common sense is not playing well in Peoria. Some Democrats are aware of this too. Hollis, for example, says former Democratic adviser Dan Trenne, warned that his party's criticism of the doge would alienate more voters.
(Other Democrats warn of the party's focus on race, and longtime Democratic strategist James Kerrville complains about accepting the issue of the “sermon woman” on the left and boutiques.)
Certainly, Democrats have not learned from history. In the 1990s, Democratic President Bill Clinton cut government jobs – as Trump does now. Seeing how the wind was blowing, he worked with GOP-controlled councils to reduce spending growth. This has led to a few years of surplus in the federal budget. As a result, he wasn't just a two-term president. He also trusts these surpluses, despite the council controlling the purse strings and affecting financial restraints.
But no kind of restraint characterizes today's Democrats. They are now a rare man's party, but they deny this and are not sure what a man or woman is.
