Crypto Custody Provider Taurus has announced a major partnership with Turkish digital bank Bankpozitif.
Switzerland-based Taurus said in a blog post on March 4th that the strategic partnership with Bankpozitif will allow the two to work together to expand the integration and adoption of digital assets across the Turkish banking ecosystem.
Facility-grade custody solution
With this collaboration, Taurus brings Taurus, Taurus and Miner solutions to BankPositif clients. Protect is a solution that provides institutional custody services for crypto, tokenized assets and digital currencies. Explorer, on the other hand, is a blockchain node and index infrastructure service that allows users to leverage both public and authorized blockchains.
Bankpozitif Chairman Dr. Erkan Kork commented:
“As we focus on innovative products and expand our investment in digitalization, this partnership with Taurus represents a critical step in our journey of digital transformation. The Turkish banking sector has reached the size of 30 trillion Turkish liras, and we see unprecedented opportunities in fintech innovation.”
Lamine Brahimi, managing partner at Taurus, added:
“The combination of high adoption rates, increased institutional benefits and constructive regulatory frameworks creates good conditions for innovation in digital asset banks. This partnership with Bankpozitif demonstrates our commitment to supporting Türkiye's ambitious goals in the digital asset field, providing the security and compliance capabilities that institutions need.”
With Taurus' partnership with Bankpozitif, this will be the latest traction for Crypto Custody Provider in Turkey. In 2024, Taurus announced its partnership with Neobank Startup Misyon.
The extension recently brought the solution to Solana. It also partnered with the Hashgraph Association to bring custody, staking and asset tokenization to Hedera (HBAR).
