Strikes spread to Europe in April
The partnership with Bitstamp follows Strike's expansion into Europe, where the company announced its entry into the market in April after reaching a similar milestone in Africa.
Now available to eligible customers, this expansion means users across the EU can now send, buy, sell, and withdraw BTC. Users can withdraw Bitcoin to their self-custodial wallets or send it to any Lightning wallet. This release also introduces P2P transactions for Strike Europe users.
Bitstamp's partnership with the U.S.-based bitcoin payments company comes after Robinhood announced in June that it was acquiring the Europe-based cryptocurrency exchange for $200 million.
