Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents recently swooped on the resort island of Nantucket and arrested four suspected illegal sex offenders, as well as one suspect and one inmate in Dorchester.
ICE arrested six people between September 10th and September 12th.
And they are not the only illegal immigrants terrorizing residents across sanctuary states.
Beachfront Sex Crime Wave Part 1 — Sept. 10 Arrests
Agents from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Deportation Operations Office (ERO) arrested four illegal immigrants on Nantucket Island on September 10th and 11th.
ERO adopted 28-year-old Salvadoran man, Bryan Daniel Aldana Arevalo, on September 10.
He crossed the border at an unknown date and location, and Nantucket authorities charged him with rape of a child under the age of 14 on July 26, according to an ICE report.
The Nantucket Current reported:
The New York Police Department contacted Nantucket Police on July 11 after the 12-year-old victim and her mother went to NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn to report the sexual assault. A social worker then contacted NYPD detectives. The incident allegedly occurred while the victim and her daughter were visiting family on Nantucket.
Despite his criminal offences, the Salvadoran rape suspect was released on bail.
Another illegal immigrant arrested the same day, 49-year-old Elmer Sola, was charged with three counts of child rape and eight counts of lewd acts with a child, according to an ICE report.
“This is the first time police have made an arrest on Nantucket since 2017, the first time since 2012,” the Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror reported.
Beachfront Sex Crime Wave Part 2 — Sept. 11 Arrests
On September 11, ERO arrested Felix Alberto Pérez Gómez, 41, a well-known Guatemalan national.
Perez is one of a group of stubborn illegal immigrants who refuse to be stopped from entering the country, but he first crossed the border more than 12 years ago. He was convicted of reckless and endangering driving in Pennsylvania in July 2011 and deported in August of that year.
He crossed the border again a short time later, and was charged in August of this year with indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14, ICE reported. ICE did not report whether local authorities had ignored the detention order and released him before agents could arrest him.
The island's Inquirer and Mirror newspaper, citing police, reported that the Guatemalan illegal immigrant “sexually assaulted the woman in her car.”
According to the ICE report, Brazilian national Gian do Amaral Belafronte entered the country legally in 2018 but violated the conditions of his entry and voluntarily returned home.
However, he crossed the border at an unknown location and date and ended up in the island community, where police arrested him in June 2021 on suspicion of indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14.
The Nantucket Current newspaper reported, citing police:
Bellafronte walked toward the alleged victim, grabbed her with both hands and threw her to the ground, then hovered over her, holding her hands above her head, held her mouth closed and licked her lips with his tongue while telling her, “I'm going to rape you.”
According to ICE, he evaded arraignment and disappeared until police arrested him on a default warrant on March 12 of this year. The Nantucket District Court released Bellafronte on bail the same day.
ERO investigators arrested him on September 11th.
The Inquirer and Mirror reported that a fifth arrest was expected soon.
The Dorchester Deviant
The other two illegal immigrants were Dominican Enrique Alberto Ortiz Brito and Haitian Jefferson Jerome.
According to the ICE report, Ortiz-Brito was legally admitted to the U.S. in 2016 but soon violated the conditions of his entry.
Boston police arrested him on August 31, 2017, on suspicion of possession of child pornography and released him despite an ICE detention order. The court found him a convicted sex offender but sentenced him to one year in prison and three years of probation.
ERO investigators arrested him on September 12th.
Jerome, a Haitian national, crossed the border illegally in 2021 but was deported to Mexico, ICE reported. He attempted to re-enter on Dec. 15, 2022. After being arrested and released with a notice to appear before an immigration judge, Jerome was summoned to appear in court on Sept. 11 and charged with lewd acts and assault.
ERO investigators arrested him the day after he was released by Dorchester District Court.
Other Massachusetts Cases
President Joe Biden's policies have hit the Bay States especially hard.
Most notoriously, Biden's “migrant,” Cory Alvarez, who flew directly into the U.S. from Haiti, is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl at a “migrant” shelter in Rockland.
ICE arrested him after a judge released him on $500 bail with instructions to read the Bible.
Another Haitian, who also arrived on Biden Airlines, was charged with sexually abusing a 10-year-old boy in Mansfield.
In Milford, police allege that an unnamed Brazilian illegal immigrant who was apprehended at the border and released following a long-standing order from President Biden raped a child under the age of 16. Despite an order from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to detain him, the Milford District Court released him on bail, forcing ICE to pursue him.
