On this day, marking the fourth anniversary of the January 6, 2021, demonstration at the Capitol, Prisoners J6 is calling on all Americans to join in a show of patriotism and solidarity.
Every night at 9pm, J6ers from all over the country sing the national anthem. Many hope that January 19th of this year will be his last recital from prison, so he wants everyone across America to join him on that day.
Below is a letter from J6 inmate Kelly Meggs, former leader of the Florida Oath Keepers, who is responsible for this night's constitution. He started it at the infamous Washington, D.C., concentration camp, where he began a 12-year sentence, most of it in solitary confinement. Here is his invitation:
January 19, 2025, may be the last time the national anthem will be played in prisons across the United States at 9 p.m.
In commemoration of this, it is necessary to promote nationwide the final singing of the national anthem by J6 prisoners at 9pm ET on the 19th. If President Trump grants pardons on the 20th, some, if not all, could be out with others that night and continue into the 21st.
Please spread the word that the National Anthem will be sung in unison on the 19th at 9pm ET and encourage those on stage to sing along.
One nation under God, indivisible justice for all!
thank you
