Department of Health and Human Services Secretary (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has issued a suspension work order in a Biden-era contract for the new oral Covid-19 vaccine. However, the broader HHS initiative on the advancement of new generations of covid vaccines and therapeutics remains completely intact, with all 30 other programs moving forward without interruption.
Similarly, the Covid vaccine already on the market remains pristine as Kennedy's HHS has not made any move to revoke emergency use permits (EUA), reassessing liability protections or modifying federal recommendations.
For a man who once called Covid Mass vaccinations “mass murder,” Kennedy's ti-sick moves seem like a more symbolic attitude than meaningful reforms. A single trial will be stopped while the vast government-supported vaccine machines continue to run at full speed.
Pause
In an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital, Kennedy justified the suspension at Vaxart's trial, citing concerns over surveillance and financial liability during the Biden era.
It is important for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) department to support pandemic preparation, but for the four years of Biden administration oversight, it will need to consider vaccine production agreements, including Vaxart.
He added,
We look forward to working with Vaxart and healthcare professionals to ensure that this work produces safe, effective, and financially oriented vaccine technology.
Kennedy's 90-day suspension order will affect contracts that are part of the Biden administration's $4.7 billion “Project Nextgen” initiative. The Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Agency (BARDA), a division of HHS, has allocated $460 million to Vaxart's vaccine project, with $240 million already being spent on preliminary investigations.
The outlet has designated that a recent “amendment” to the contract allows Vaxart to request the government to continue the remaining $230 million in clinical trials. However, Kennedy's suspension order has frozen those payments for now. Vaxart can request HHS to monitor those who participated in previous test phases, but will not be able to advance in the next stage of the test until reviews are complete.
NextGen is turned on
According to Children's Health Defense (CHD), a nonprofit founded by Kennedy, Project Nextgen was conceived as the successor to Trump's Speed of Operation (OWS), with the aim of quickly tracking new Covid vaccines. CHD reports that the project has received funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation, highlighting the impact of private interests on public health policies.
Kennedy has suspended one taxpayer-funded vaccine trial, but Project Nextgen continues to work perfectly. This means that HHS has reaffirmed the government's commitment to drug-driven covid solutions and has untouched the broader Biden era initiative. This includes the following areas of vaccine development and pandemic preparation:
Mucosal vaccine
One of Nextgen's main efforts focuses on intranasal vaccines designed to be easier to administer, while committing to “dramatically reducing infection and transmission.” Of course, this sounds creepy and similar to the guarantee given to you about the “original” vaccine. It claims that this turned out to be far less conclusive than was originally mentioned later.
“Better protection”
Another pillar of NextGen is the development of a wide range of symbiotic vaccines, which promises long-term immunity and better protection against variants. The effort may seem reasonable, but it again prompts the question: According to Kennedy's HHS, if previous vaccines are “safe and effective,” why replace them?
Faster, cheaper and more scalable
NextGen also touts work on “innovative solutions for rapid, low-cost vaccine production.” Efficiency is generally welcome, but driving faster and more flexible production raises concerns about regulatory shortcuts that Kennedy himself was burning. The history of rushing medical approval – the Cucovid vaccine – suggests that speed is not always consistent with safety or long-term efficacy.
Pan-coronavirus vaccine
Project NextGen also focuses on the universal covid vaccine. This shot targets multiple coronaviruses at once. On the surface, this may sound appealing. But the broader meaning is clear. Research into the Covid vaccine is no longer about SARS-Cov-2. It's about building a permanent pandemic infrastructure.
This coincides with Trump's decision to maintain Biden-era Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy (OPPR) in the White House, ensuring that the same centralized pandemic framework remains intact.
Monoclonal antibodies
Monoclonal antibody therapy is the main focus of NextGen. However, previous versions have repeatedly failed.
Previous Covid antibody therapy lost its effectiveness against the new variant, resulting in quiet phase-out. Now, Nextgen aims to create a “more resilient” monoclonal therapy. However, this focuses on reactive solutions rather than broader, more effective COVID treatment strategies.
What are you missing? Early treatments for working
Project Nextgen will pour billions of dollars into new vaccine technology. But it completely ignores one important area – inexpensive and effective early treatments like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.
Since the start of the pandemic, doctors have successfully used low-cost medications to promote them. These treatments were effective in reducing virus replication and relieving symptoms when given early.
Nevertheless, the government prioritized vaccines and expensive medicines. From Ows to Project NextGen, the focus remains the same.
Under Kennedy's leadership, nothing has changed. The vaccine pipeline remains intact, and accessible treatments remain neglected. Covid Care remains tied to an endless cycle of new vaccines.
What about the “old” jab?
Kennedy has not made any move to move Nextgen forward, as well as reevaluate or limit existing Covid vaccines.
Despite previous criticism of mass vaccinations, Secretary Kennedy has not exercised his authority to change existing Covid vaccine policies.
Liability Protection: The Public Preparation and Emergency Response (PREP) Act will grant exemptions to vaccine manufacturers through December 31, 2029. The HHS Director has the authority to amend or revoke this declaration, but has not done so.
Emergency Use Permit (EUAS): Certain covid vaccines, including boosters and pediatric doses, are administered under the EUAS. Kennedy can revoke people under Section 564 of the Federal Food, Drugs and Cosmetics Act. No such behavior has been carried out.
Promotion of HHS Vaccination: HHS still promotes symbiotic vaccines, including encouraging parents to vaccinate their children. This continues despite clear evidence of harm, myocarditis, blood clots, reproductive and neurological problems, and premature death. CHD and other groups have thoroughly documented these risks.
Kennedy's pause doesn't change anything. Covid vaccine policy, government promotions and new projects all move forward.
