Several lawmakers told Politico that the plan is too extreme and would never pass Congress. Even a Washington Post columnist denounced the plan.
That's because it certainly reeks of “socialist price controls,” as her Republican rival and former president Donald Trump put it, and it's one of the reasons why, as The New American reported last week, mainstream commentary is chock full of the words “Harris” and “communist” in the same sentence.
