Developed countries need to hand over $1 trillion a year to the “Global South” to help solve climate change and environmental problems, Bank on the Climate activist David Rigui told New American magazine senior editor Alex Newman. Mr. Rigoui has traveled across five continents on a solar-powered electric bicycle to raise awareness and is helping to spearhead the Peace + $1 Trillion campaign. “We have a mission to restore happiness, safety and health to young generations,” he added.
