From each according to skin color, and to each according to skin color? That's correct,
Forget the old Marxist formula. Today, in our diverse society, demands for fairness from morally crooked people have a racial slant. This would explain some of the recent stories.
The first is about a food pantry in Minneapolis that does not serve white people. (Kamala Harris' running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, will be busy on this short notice, right?)
The second one concerns the disaster in western North Carolina. Some on the left are essentially claiming that the death of the region's rural whites and “MAGA voters” is karma. On the other hand, some criticize that the Harris-Biden administration's emphasis on FEMA's “fairness” may result in a lack of federal disaster aid.
Starving white people? Heck, they get to eat with the privilege!
White people never starve. They just melt away, and that may be the philosophy of Food Trap Project Bodega. The Post Millennial reports (hint: American Thinker):
A food pantry in Minneapolis, Minnesota only provides food to “black and indigenous people,” and starving white people are told not to accept available “resources.” Michelo “Keiko” Jackson, who runs the food pantry, won a state grant from the state of Minnesota to open the food pantry.
…In an Instagram post, Jackson justified why he would ban white people from using food pantries. “Did you know?!” she wrote. “White neighborhoods have, on average, four times as many supermarkets as majority-black neighborhoods. This number may be shocking to some, but it is in contrast to many areas classified as food deserts. is very reflective of the current situation in BIPOC (Black Indigenous Peoples and People of Color) neighborhoods.
… “The American food system, like many other systems, too often overlooks communities of color. It encompasses what is missing and takes race, geography, and economics into account. This cross-cutting approach to understanding America's food system highlights how our nation's systemic lack of access to healthy food disproportionately impacts communities of color. They blame it on a history of speciesism. ”
Food deserts — or truth deserts?
In fact, no one who understands reality would find the lack of supermarkets in inner-city black communities a shock. Not only are high crime rates in these areas keeping businesses away, but left-wing policies are exacerbating the problem. For example, in Democratic jurisdictions where slap-on-the-wrist “justice” prevails and penalties for “petty theft” are reduced, shoplifting has exploded. As for Minneapolis, the 2020 George Floyd riots caused hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage. And will all the burned-out companies want to return to the cultural hellscape?
Of course, it's understandable that Jackson would be upset about this. But instead of indulging in “structural racism” fiction, she should blame Tim Walz, the man who, like Nero, was messing around while the city burned.
Another point: Michelle Obama, who supports the Harris-Waltz ticket, made some highly offensive remarks about food deserts years ago. But here's an idea. The Obama family has a combined net worth of $70 million. They also have friendships and influence with groups of exorbitantly wealthy people. So why doesn't she organize the establishment of a supermarket chain to serve urban centers instead of complaining? If there is no good reason for grocery stores to withdraw from these areas? If it was just racism, she and her partner should be able to make a profit while doing good.
Or is she better off having political problems inciting than problems being solved?
Speaking of demagogy, I go back to Jackson. Local pastor Howard Dotson went to her food pantry and when he was denied entry, he confronted her, he said. He also filed a complaint, which Jackson called “wait a minute…a display of his 'white privilege.'” The kicker: She further claimed that he committed “political violence.”
No food, but water is all you can handle – etc.
But apparently, white privilege isn't always real — at least on a cosmic level. In any case, judging by the reaction of some on the left to the devastation of Hurricane Helen in North Carolina, that may be the harvest. The Media Research Center (MRC) reports:
Our cultural and institutional rulers guarantee nothing, and no one is safe from being drawn into a desperate attempt at mental gymnastics to achieve “social justice.”
Indiscriminate natural disasters will not stop race-bullying leaders and ivory tower “intellectuals” from blaming white people for their “disproportionate” effects.
That was until Hurricane Helen struck the rural South, drowning mostly white victims and destroying livelihoods.
Suddenly, the racial Marxists who govern us seem to be pretending the hurricane never happened. Their vitriolic “anti-racist” followers are posting on social media from the comfort of their dry homes, celebrating the death of an entire nation they claim is deserved. .
MRC host Justin Brooke-Murray shares the example above. She also notes that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has redefined its mission as “anti-racism.” “Now they exist to make sure everyone has a fair chance of drowning,” she claimed, adding, “There is no help for the blue-eyed devil.” (Video below.)
Story details
To be fair, the anti-white comments Murray cited were from social media users. But if white people, regardless of status, said similar things about non-white people, wouldn't this be a big media story?
Murray's report includes other alarming examples of the racist awakening prevalent today. More can be found here, here, here, here, here, and here. Surprisingly, even a New York professor who is currently in the news is saying that there are no such things as “natural disasters” and that they are all the result of “racism.”
And yes, implicit in this is truth: we are suffering from climate change. In other words, America's cultural climate has gone from reality to madness.
