Meta, the parent of Facebook and Instagram, isn't just promoting propaganda for Vice President Kamala Harris and censoring anti-Harris information.
It also censors posts supporting Donald Trump, keeping them from seeing the light of day.
Once again, love-starved Meta employees chirped like songbirds when they met an undercover journalist from O'Keeffe Media Group (OMG) for a date.
The revelations come on the heels of OMG's report on pro-Harris election interference.
Two reports suggest one of two things. 1) Meta employees are not following company policy, as Mark Zuckerberg stated in a letter to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) in August. Demotion and censorship of content was supposed to stop. or 2) Zuckerberg showed his displeasure when he insisted that a controversial article, the New York Post's original exposé about Hunter Biden's laptop, would not be demoted until it was fact-checked.
Supporting Trump posts are not allowed
Engineer Matthew Fowler told OMG's undercover journalists how pro-Trump and conservative information is “checked” and thoroughly investigated.
A journalist asked Fowler about “pro-Republican nonsense” such as “Oh, illegal aliens are killing and eating all the dogs and cats,” and whether that would be stripped from the site.
Fowler said his team did not remove the information, but instead would “investigate” the claims. Once completed, “another team will destroy it.”
In Meta, he confessed, “Most people I know are liberal.”
“Liberal” is a somewhat unpleasant term for far-left weirdos on social media. But anyway, the journalist also spoke to data scientist Michael Zuorob.
He explained that “fact checkers” almost always label falsehoods as conservative, regardless of their veracity, and that most metafact checkers are “liberal.”
Because much of what fact checkers find false is shared by conservatives, policies that demote content found false by fact checkers would have a disproportionate impact on conservatives. It will be.
That's because “fact checkers” are “liberals” after all. The Hunter Biden laptop article covered up is an example of meta bias.
Fact checkers are “like the mainstream media, so I think that would be a liberal coating,” he said.
The Hunter Biden story, the Hunter Biden laptop story is an example. So, I think, apparently, the FBI told Mark (Zuckerberg) or Meta, “Hey, there's a big story coming out, and the Russians are involved in it.” And like the next day, this Hunter Biden laptop article was published in the New York Post. So Meta reduced the spread of that post on Facebook through rankings. It just lowers your rank and shows up less in people's feeds.
Of course, the laptop incident was not “Russian disinformation” as falsely claimed by the FBI, President Joe Biden, 51 former intelligence officials, and left-wing mainstream media.
The third heartbroken meta-engineer to fall for this ruse is Plamen Zherepov.
“So are you really suppressing the crazy conspiracy right-wingers who post trash?” asked the undercover journalist. Zherepov admitted:
Either it's censored, or it's like a community note, and at the bottom of the post it says this is disinformation, it's probably fake, blah blah blah blah, etc.
And people who try to post pro-Trump content won't be notified if their content is censored or downgraded.
Stopping anti-harris material
We know that from previous OMG reports.
As The New American reported Thursday, OMG journalists readily convinced other Meta employees to acknowledge the company's pro-Harris, pro-Democrat bias.
A software engineer named Jeevan Gyawali happily explained that the anti-Harris material goes directly into the memory hole.
Anything related to political content will not be automatically displayed. Suppose your uncle from Ohio says something like Kamala Harris is unfit to be president because she doesn't have children. Shit like that will be automatically demoted.
And Mr. Zuckerberg intends to support Democrats “100 percent,” he said.
That aside, again, either the employees didn't get the memo that automatic demotions aren't company policy, or Zuckerberg was goofing off to Jordan when he said automatic demotions wouldn't happen anymore.
Zuckerberg's letter
In August, Zuckerberg acknowledged in a candid letter to Jordan that the Biden administration had pressured Facebook to censor information about the coronavirus that the administration didn't like. He also said that Facebook cooperated with the FBI to take down the article and that the site should not have done so.
“In a separate situation, the FBI alerted us to a possible Russian disinformation campaign regarding the Biden family and Burisma in the lead-up to the 2020 election,” Zuckerberg wrote.
That fall, when we saw a New York Post article reporting corruption allegations involving then-Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden's family, we sent it to fact-checkers for review and waited for a while to hear back. The article was demoted. It has since been revealed that the report was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, the article should not have been demoted. We have changed our policies and processes to ensure this never happens again. For example, the US no longer demotes things temporarily while waiting for fact checkers.
Yes, Facebook only removes or demotes pro-Trump posts. A meta employee says:
