NewsNation talker Chris Cuomo, an opponent of President-elect Donald Trump, said he was perfectly satisfied with Trump's harsh rebuke of Vice President Kamala Harris on Nov. 5.
Reason: Democrats and the far left were “not impressed” by Trump's assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania, which came close to success.
In fact, even after the second time, far-left weirdos mocked Trump.
The broadcast on The Chris Cuomo Project was the second scathing commentary on the former CNN host's assassination attempt. After his second statement, Mr. Cuomo called President Trump to apologize for his blunt response to far-left media.
“Would it have been better if he had died?”
When Cuomo weighed in on the assassination attempt, he was referring to the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling that presidents cannot be prosecuted for acts of officialdom.
“What I found absolutely appalling and outrageous was how unimpressed the left was when Trump was shot in the head,” Cuomo began. “So how many of you are going to stop saying he was shot in the head or just got his ear damaged?” Cuomo continued.
Fuck it! You told me that you had a bullet wound in your ear, but it was no big deal. i'm good. i'm good. No, no, that's crazy. If that had happened to Harris, you guys would have been talking about it nonstop for three days, about how we're in helter skelter mode or whatever it is. And yet, when I say that's why we lost the election, you call me a bigot. That's exactly why we lost the election.
Cuomo told viewers that Democrats are completely “out of touch” with reality and have “lost any sense of how the majority of people feel.” And the far-left Democratic Party's response to the assassination attempt is a “perfect example” of how out of line they are.
“Well, I think it was just a teleprompter,” he continued.
If I didn't wish the man had died, I would never have evaluated it that way. How messed up is that? Do you wish he had died? That you made light of him getting shot. I hated it. And I felt some satisfaction that you were punished politically for that. Because there's no room for that. He will – he is no standard of virtue. Understood. And he's still hitting you.
Cuomo's advice to Democrats: “Understand how Americans feel, meet them on the ground and deliver better.”
Otherwise, those who don't do it will lose. And it doesn't matter if it's Donald Trump or not. If he is close to how people feel at that moment, you lose. That's what happened now.
Unacceptable response to second attempt
After the second attempt on Trump's life at Trump's golf club in Palm Beach, Florida, Cuomo called Trump to apologize for the lackluster media response. For Cuomo, what concerns him is “response and non-response.” Mr. Cuomo then called Mr. Trump and informed him.
“But the man didn't even fire a shot,” Cuomo said.
What if it was your father? Or what if it was Kamala Harris or President Biden? Do you think this will mostly be a shrug of the shoulders and a conversation about the Secret Service and the allocation of funds rather than how crazy it is that this is happening in our country?
Cuomo said the “don't exaggerate” response — “he had an AK-47” — was “unacceptable.”
“This is the second time that the media and political actors have gotten away with downplaying what should be a cause for panic,” he said.
One Democrat's reaction
One of the more horrifying reactions to the second assassination attempt was that of Trump's impeachment co-conspirator, a Trump-hating Democrat and Ukrainian immigrant who somehow played a role in determining policy toward Russia and Ukraine on the National Security Council. It was from Alexander Vindman's wife.
Vindman leaked the contents of Trump's phone call with Ukraine's corrupt president, Volodomyr Zelensky, and helped impeach Trump. At the time, Trump asked the other side to provide evidence of Biden and Burisma's plans to expand their influence.
Rachel Vindman posted on X after her second attempt: Carry on Sunday afternoon. ”
Despite the furious reaction to the insane post, which called for her husband to condemn his comments as unacceptable, Mrs. Vindman remained unrepentant, Newsweek magazine reported on the now-deleted post.
“Rachel Vindman suggested that her opinions and comments about X did not require reprimand from her husband because she was capable of forming her own opinions,” the website continued.
Her profile on X says: “Opinions are my own and not necessarily my husband's…but when we disagree, clearly my opinion is correct.”
The podcaster, who co-hosts a show called “The Suburban Women Issue,” further strengthened her position in response to the backlash against her. She turned to X again and said: I don't mind it in the slightest. ”
Then again, perhaps the husband Alexander had a conversation with his wife.
“I deleted the tweet,” she wrote to X on September 16.
That's frivolous and political violence is a serious problem. If we want to change the direction of political discourse, all incidents, whether directed against former presidents, the media, immigrants, or political “enemies,” must be dealt with appropriately.
Vindman deleted the X account.
