The project was completed as part of the Monetary Authority of Singapore's (MAS) Project Guardian and showcased how Swift's infrastructure can facilitate off-chain cash payments for tokenized funds. We also show how tokenization and blockchain can work to improve, rather than replace, Swift, which connects over 11,500 financial institutions in over 200 countries.
