Some wallets hold $100 million worth of Trump and Melanie meme coins About 60 wallets hold the largest profits, ranging from $1 million to $10 million. 80% of Trump and Melanie's holders are investors with less than $1,000 in assets on Solana
The majority of crypto wallets holding Trump and Melania meme coins are making little profit, suggesting retail buying activity.
This is according to data from Chaineries, a blockchain forensics company. A post on X looked at investors trading in the Trump Memecoin and Melania Memecoin, which were launched ahead of President Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday.
We found that 77% of wallets earned less than $100. However, some wallets hold more than $100 million each. A breakdown of the findings shows that over 600,000 wallets are at break-even or have less than $100 in revenue.
Small amounts, around 60 wallets, will give you the maximum profit, amounting to $1 million to $10 million.

According to Chainalysis, new individual investors are said to be investing in these meme coins.
Looking at the survey results, it is stated that:
“Further indicative of retail popularity is that over 80% of $TRUMP and/or $MELANIA holders are investors who do not own $1,000 worth of assets in Solana.”
Additionally, 50% of Trump and Melania token holders had never purchased Solana altcoins, adding that “nearly half of the buyers created a wallet on the day they purchased the tokens.”
However, many have criticized President Trump's meme coins, claiming that he is only doing it to increase his personal wealth. “It's only a matter of time before a lot of people lose money from this,” billionaire businessman Mark Cuban said, as reported by the Guardian.
At the time of publication, Trumpcoin is trading at over $37 and has a market capitalization of $7.3 billion. When launched on Friday, January 17, the token peaked at more than $75, giving it a market cap of nearly $15 billion, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
