The single largest liquidation order was worth $9.59 million and occurred on BTC-USDT-SWAP on OKX. Liquidations were dominated by short positions, accounting for $128.04 million, while long positions amounted to $65.65 million.
A total of $10.99 million was settled in the past hour, with $10.59 million short and $396,390 long. In the past four hours, liquidations amounted to $32.38 million, consisting of $28.47 million short and $3.91 million long.
Bitcoin accounted for $67.99 million in liquidations by asset, followed by Ethereum at $39.05 million. A surge in Bitcoin prices put pressure on traders holding short positions, with $144 million liquidated after a week of pressure on long positions.
