The Biden administration lied about the number of arrests caused by immigration and customs enforcement, the ice top official told reporters today.
In yet another scandal revealed in the Open Borders administration, border agents counted illegal aliens who were arrested and released for “arrest.”
Ice Director Todd Lyons revealed the lies to reporters during the phone call after Fox News reported, but during that time he also ran through the numbers of arrests and deportations by the new Trump administration.
Meanwhile, Ice has continued to arrest illegal corporations that have been deported multiple times, the agency revealed today.

The Biden administration was “cooking books on ice data,” the Lions said:
They intentionally mislead Americans by classifying individuals who were processed and released inside the US as ice arrests.
Here, a comprehensive review was conducted internally on ice. In fact, when these cases were simply handled and were illegal aliens released into American communities, they discovered tens of thousands of cases recorded as arrests.
Again, the numbers are tens of thousands.
Therefore, Fox reported that the “majority” of the 113,431 arrests in 2024 was “pass-through.”
That's not happening under Trump, another official told reporters. “What we're doing now is not enforcement theatres, but actual immigration enforcement,” the official said.
Continued Fox:
Regarding internal arrests, in 2024, ice enforcement removal work led to massive arrests of 33,242 people, just 29% of all ice outages. For comparison, authorities say ICE made 32,809 arrests between January 20th and March 10th (this year). This means that this week's number will exceed the number for 2024.
Excavating into that last datum reveals what Open Border did for the safety of America's Heartland.
“Of of these arrests, 14,111 have been convicted of criminal offenders and 9,980 have pending criminal charges,” Fox reported. “More than 1,150 suspected gang members, and 483 were twice as many times the time they were arrested in the same period last year.”
New app
The good thing is, as Fox reported, the Trump administration has created a new smartphone application to replace the Biden administration's illegal app that invites illegals to appointments at the border and releases them to the country.
This new thing will help you declare yourself.
It is impossible to predict how many illegal actors will use it. However, those who remain in the country and do not stay will be deported and not permitted to return if they are arrested.
“The CBP Home App offers aliens the option to leave and self-abolize now, so they may still have the opportunity to legally return and live their American dreams,” said Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem. “If they don't, we'll find them, we'll deport them, and they'll never return.”
Recent arrests
Emphasizing what the issue is, ICE reported today that it has arrested three stubborn illegals who refused to be abroad. One is a dangerous murderer, and the other has been convicted of attempted murder. Two of them have been deported at least 12 times.
The previously deported illegal Guatemala Joel Sac Tumbris, 24, was successfully united on a warrant for vehicle murder, ICE reported. On June 9, 2024, police claimed he had reaped a 30-year-old man and fled the scene as illegals often did. Cultural enrichers are also faced with accusations of assaulting officers and avoiding arrest.
Ice arrested Sac-Tambriz in 2018 and deported him.
During his encounter with SAC-Tambriz, ICE agents also arrested three other illegals, one Chinese and two Guatemalans.
Ice deported Mexico's illegal Jose Antonio Garcia, 51, after a Calipatrian prison honoring Ice detainees.
Garcia was convicted of attempted murder in 2007 and jumped to the border seven times before being sentenced to 20 years in prison, Ice reported.
ICE also deported illegal Mexico Juan Carlos Luis Diaz, 44.
Ruiz-Diaz was found guilty of illegal rehabilitation on July 16, 2002, October 25, 2002, November 25, 2002, December 16, 2003, September 23, 2008, April 23, 2008, December 23, 2002, and August 27, 2008, and was not approved by Ruizdiaz's 2010 general commend, Ruiz-ddddddddddddddd-degure to reapply for admission at used-d-deriz-deriz-ruiz-rue.

Unfortunately, ICE officials must deal with lawmakers who have continued to argue that crossing borders illegally is not a crime. The claim may explain why so many illegal actors are first entering the country, or why they re-enter the country after deportation.
“They're going on like 'illicitors' and they've broken the laws that come in,” said Jasmine Crockett, Democrat, in Texas, recently:
But what they haven't told the American people is that it's a civil offence. Entrying illegally is not a criminal offence. …It's not a crime. That's why they're so frustrated because we really want our local law enforcement to close out when we can look for murderers, sexual abusers, robbers. They want them to take part in civil accusations and close out the people.
As lawyer Crockett should know, it's wrong. Crossing the border is illegally violating it, which imposes both civil and criminal penalties.
