However, the race between Ansari and Democrat Raquel Teran, who was endorsed by cryptocurrency critic leader Warren, has narrowed to 67 votes apart almost a week after the state's election, with Ansari's lead shrinking with each passing vote. According to the Secretary of State's office, an estimated 2,089 votes remain to be counted across Maricopa County, which includes the 3rd Congressional District, and Arizona's current margin of less than 0.2% in the 3rd Congressional District is well below the 0.5% threshold needed for an automatic recount.
